57.93% Performance Gain Over Adreno 730
The latest Geekbench performance report shows that the Adreno 740 came out scoring 10744 on the Vulkan. And the average for the GPU of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is 9844. In comparison, the Adreno 730 of the Galaxy S22 Ultra offered an average of 6233. That means that the Adreno 740 will be around 58% better than the current flagship.
So, it seems that Samsung has made the right decision to use the chips manufactured by a rival foundry for its upcoming Galaxy S23 series. Although, its reign might not be that long.
